Clip Chart
Clip Chart
We are using a clip chart for our citizenship tracking. Students will start out their clip on green each day ready to learn. Their goal is to move up on the chart as we get through our day. A student may get moved down but will still have the opportunity to move back up before the day is over. You will receive a note if your child is on red anytime that day or if a behavior is becoming a repeated problem. Please sign and return the note. 5 points are given for citizenship each day. Each color is worth a point. If the student stays on green all day they will move up their clip at the end of the day earning all 5 points. The following are the colors and points:
orange-- Awesome Day!=7 points
purple--Great Day!=6 points
blue--Good Day!=5 points
green--Ready to Learn!=4 points
yellow--Think About It!=3 points (5 minutes of recess if repeated)
red--Note Home=2 points (5 minutes of recess)
black--Principal=1 point
